Working in the organic and conventional agribusiness sector in Canada.

Working in food and agribusiness sector in India, with business overview and networking around the globe in organic exports, agricultural crop production, fresh pulses and grains and food processing sectors. Hands on experience of handling / managing value chain based agribusiness projects in multinational & multi-cultural set up in private / business set up as well development project for small & marginal farmers.

Vision is to be the orchestrator of supply chain in food and agribusiness sector utilizing the strengths of crop production, technology, crop diversity, economies of scale, R&D and the market in the regions of our presence while having a value chain development approach Collaborative work with executives to accelerate professional growth and corporate growth with a strong focus on Innovation, Change Management, Performance Improvement, Business Growth, Operational Effectiveness, Profitability, Cash Flow and Risk Mitigation.

▪ Identifying and developing farmer (small & marginal) clusters for the organization to facilitate direct procurement and to link them directly to the efficient market system (largely modern retail) so as to improve the income of small & marginal farmers. Crop production planning and scheduling for regular supply as per delivery schedule.

▪ Training of extension staff and the farmers for better agronomic, crop protection, pre harvest and post-harvest management practices. Maintenance of the data base of organic products certification pertaining to the area certified.

▪ Analysis of the demand in the global market for specific products in terms of quantity and value of exports.

▪ Study of package of practice in organic farming for implementation for specific products for exports.

▪ Designed & deployed project to meet new Super stream requirements. Managed & delivered project on time and on budget in a high volume & pressure work environment including new process redesign, change management and training of team. Prepared all vendor payments and ensure payments are processed within given timeframes and full compliance is achieved.

▪ Involved in preparation of bank reconciliation statements on periodical basis and assisting in finalization of the accounts and Prepared Cash Book, Ledger, Journal Register, Purchases & sales registers and any other subsidiary books & statement required and independently finalized Trading and Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet.

▪ Implemented Systems & procedures for the preparation & maintenance of statutory books of accounts, reconciliation statements and financial statements including Receivables and Payables.

▪ Performed the entire gamut of accounting functions encompassing varied MIS report preparation, accounting control, liaising and tax assessment.

My career has focused on building strong financial controls within small to mid-size global businesses units and spans diverse market segments across countries. I am adept at adjusting to changing market conditions and managing financial results which achieve revenue growth both in established and emerging markets. 

▪ My mission is to establish a business strategy according to the Organic Products Export Strategy and to lead, direct and control all the operations and development in my capacity, so that it achieves its short and long term financial and operating objectives.

▪ Establish and oversee budgets, plans, policies, and programmes that will effectively implement the business strategies and objectives set by the Board.

▪ Set and Monitor the performance country by country against standards and targets in areas such as cost control, product offer, brands negotiation, sales revenue, expansion, legal compliance and Human resources management.

▪ Monitor the Market’s competitive environment to identify business threats and opportunities and develop business plans to address them. Liaise with clients to ensure that the zone’s strategies and activities are integrated with other parts of the business and align with the overall corporate objectives.

▪ Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of senior managers to ensure that the business strategy is implemented
effectively, consistently and according to established guidelines and budgets.
